For over a decade, I've thrived as a remote software engineer and engineering manager, helping my teams navigate their professional paths while mastering the art of balancing work and family. I've also spent much time teaching others over the years, with the last couple of years teaching online courses to computer science graduate students.
But my story continues beyond the digital realm.
In May 2023, my family and I set sail on our boat, Fika, to conquer America's Great Loop.
This expedition isn't just about sailing; it's a testament to turning dreams into reality. As a parent of two elementary-aged kids, I understand the intricacies of managing family logistics while pursuing ambitious goals.
