Boat Life Products & Gear

Here, you will find products our family uses regularly and useful in our full-time cruising lifestyle along America's Great Loop.

Boat Cards

Order Boat Cards

There are a number of places you can order your boat cards.

I really like using Moo.com.

You can design your cards in an online ordering system or use software like Photoshop, etc. You might also want to try using Canva.com to design your cards.

Boat Card Book

We like to keep our collected boat cards, membership cards, business cards, and library cards in a business card holder book. This gives us an easy place to look back for cards of places we've been or people we've met along the way when we're trying to recall something or look up some contact information.

Thermal Cooker

Not quite a slow cooker and not a pressure cooker, the Thermal Cooker requires a bit of time and planning but very little energy. We enjoy cooking with this tool!

Silicone Loaf Pan

Buy 2! This is an excellent pan for baking loaves of sandwich bread and quick bread. If you and your family go through a lot of bread and plan to travel to places where it can be harder to get to grocery stores (like the Bahamas) or just like homemade loaves of bread, these dishes squish down and don't take up as much space.

Wireless Motion Sensor Light

This light has been a game-changer for us. It took the constant frustration of trying to find spices in a dark, tight cupboard into something much easier. The light is automatic and turns on when we open the cupboard. It is magnetic and clings to some metal panels (these came with it). When the battery gets low, we plug into a USB-C charger (something that matches most of our devices, yay!). We have more of these lights in other lockers and spaces in the boat.

Laundry Pins

These stainless steel clothespins are anti-rust and fit perfectly on our lifelines when hanging towels and laundry out to dry.

Large Laundry Pins

These stainless steel clothespins are much larger and are great for securing towels and laundry to larger poles. We use it to hang towels up for shade between bimini poles, or could clip onto stanchions or rails.

Outdoor Lights

We use these lights in our cockpit. The solar charger on the primary puck keeps them charged up. The lights make it easier to spot our cockpit if we dinghy back in the dark, and it lights up the space just right when we're hanging out in the cockpit after sunset.
